Perth’s Badges & Engraving Specialists

Located in Jolimont (Perth), Western Australia, Sheridan’s supplies a comprehensive range of badges, lapel pins, plaques, medals, medallions, personalised keyrings, trophies and specialty items to local and national government agencies, health organisations, schools, sports clubs, associations and business organisations.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, much of this work requires highly technical engraving skills. Skills we at Sheridan’s sometimes take for granted after over a century of experience making well-crafted badges and engravings for the people of Perth and throughout Western Australia. We have the equipment to not only make highly detailed embossing dies but to engrave the end product, and the artisanal skills to create beautiful end products, and to manufacture very detailed schematic boards, and electrical and dashboard panels. We also make office signage and industrial labels from a wide range of plastic and metal stock.

Our staff are only too happy to help you take advantage of nearly a century of experience in choosing the best quality badges and engraving in Perth and Australia. If you can’t find what you are looking for, we will help you create something special to suit your needs.

Feel free to visit our Jolimont showroom or contact us for more information. Our comprehensive range is available Australia-wide!

Our History

Sheridan’s has been making badges in Perth since 1913, and has created hundreds of local association, club and military badges in Western Australia over the last century.
Our business started out as a small jewellery workshop behind the Sheridan family home. The advent of World War 1 led to a demand for various types of regalia and the need for more specialised equipment.

And so began Sheridan’s Engraving and Metal Stamping Company. Today we are a third generation family firm, and are one of Western Australia’s longest-running family businesses. We are proud of our history and heritage servicing the community of Western Australia, as we continue to supply quality badges, engraving and medallions to all levels of governments, health organisations, schools, sports clubs and business organisations: you’ll even find our work in the WA Museum history collection!

We pride ourselves on the craftsmanship used to create the special dies necessary to translate your design into an appealing badge. Made from hardened tool steel, we use these to emboss the badges from solid copper or brass. Fortunately, our development of computerised equipment has helped bring the cost of die making within everyone’s budget. We also make high quality name badges, which allow you to recognise an individual’s endeavour or position. A Sheridan’s name badge presents an image of importance and durability. We also manufacture spoons, personalised metal keyrings and other important mementos such as life member badges. All of these can be presented in an attractive suede box or pouch.
